If you have taken our Gals & Guns 1.0 Basic Pistol course, or the CWP Basic Pistol course, this would be the next level course. G&G 2.0 picks up where they left off with a one (1) hour classroom lecture and then six (6) hours on the range! One of the most important aspects of this course is drawing safely, smoothly and competently to engage a threat. You will learn how to draw from the open carry position, reload, clear malfunctions, shoot from behind cover and shooting on the move. The course was designed with these concept in mind. The drills will help you determine if your current system is working for you and to make changes as needed.

Course Prerequisite: You must have successfully completed one of our other handgun courses in order to attend Gals & Guns 2.0 Handgun Defense Course, or successfully completed a comparable LIVE FIRE pistol course given by a certified instructor. This class is fast-paced and, therefore, students need to have a fairly solid knowledge of the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting.

This is an open carry training course and you must have a quality leather or Kydex type holster. Your holster must be held tightly on your hip with a sturdy belt. 

Length: 8 Hours, usually 10:00AM to 6:00PM

Loadout: Please bring at least 600 rounds of quality practice ammunition. Re-manufactured or hand reloads are not permissible for this course for safety reasons.
