About The Instructor:
Alex Mix is a Modern Samurai Project Endorsed Instructor with MSP Black Belt Patches 30,32 and 33. Former Infantry Marine and Law Enforcement Officer. USPSA Carry Optics A Class.
“I have over 10 years of training experience instructing the new shooter to special operations for our military and law enforcement."
I have a passion for sharing knowledge with people. With over 15 years of shooting experience, my focus as a shooter/instructor is to provide the most up-to-date training, enabling individual shooters to achieve clean and efficient growth in understanding and technique. In my opinion "Advanced Shooting Skills" is applying the fundamentals into different situations. Just like any skill we see people demonstrate. The elite have mastered the fundamentals and apply them in great ways. Look at any professional athlete.
I consider myself "always a white belt". I never stop learning and finding new and better ways to understand and master the fundamentals of shooting. I am always taking classes with some of the best shooters/instructors in the industry. I have trained with JJ Racaza, Scott Jedlinski (who has endorsed me as an instructor with MSP), Donovan Moore, Chuck Pressberg, Aaron Cowen and many more. I look forward to training with you and sharing my knowledge with you.
