Tactical Carbine

This dynamic course is designed for those looking to develop real-world tactical proficiency with their carbine. Whether you're preparing for defensive scenarios or simply looking to enhance your skills, this training emphasizes movement, weapon manipulation under stress, and engagement from non-traditional positions.

Course Topics:

  • Field-strip, clean, and maintain your carbine for optimal performance

  • Safely load, reload, and handle your carbine under pressure

  • Identify and clear malfunctions while maintaining situational awareness and movement​

  • Engage targets while moving, using cover, and transitioning between firing positions

  • Fight from behind cover/concealment and incorporate ground-fighting techniques with a carbine

  • Live-fire drills that simulate real-world combat and defensive engagements

This course places a strong emphasis on movement, weapon reliability, and fight-focused techniques. Students should be prepared for a physically active day on the range.

  • Co-ed

The course option will be specified upon registration.

By the end of the course, you'll leave with the skills, confidence, and tactical mindset necessary to run your carbine effectively in high-stress, real-world scenarios.

American Citizenship or US Citizen Legal Resident Green Card is required to take this course.

If you are unable to attend the course date you have signed up for, your course fee can be applied to another instruction date, but must be redeemed within six (6) months of  the course date you originally planned to attend. If the course is cancelled by MTFI, you will be refunded in full.
