This course is perfect for individuals with little to no experience with handguns. Whether you're new to firearms or looking to build confidence and foundational skills, this class provides a comprehensive introduction to safe and effective handgun use.

Firearm safety with both revolvers and semi-automatic handguns

Handgun parts, nomenclature, and basic operation

Identifying and clearing common handgun malfunctions

Live Fire Qualification:
Each participant will complete a one-on-one live fire qualification with an instructor to ensure safe handling and shooting proficiency.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to apply for a Montana State Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) if they choose.

Loadout:
Please bring 50 rounds of handgun ammunition.
