Course Description:

Learn principles of patient assessment, splinting, bleeding control, and CPR. You'll also learn the recognition and treatment of common medical emergencies, and injuries in this hands-on instructor led class. We'll incorporate Stop the Bleed certification and review stroke recognition. CPR certification via American Heart Association is NOT offered in this class, but we'll make sure you're proficient in the skill per the USCCA curriculum at the layperson level. We'll go over how to build your first-aid kit, and to improvise if you had to.
